If you have less than 2 males and less than 2 females you should try to launch a new game again - villagers that will live will be generated randomly. If you want to success remember that after launching you should check first how many males and females you have - this will be the most important factor in your future success or failure. When starting a new map, either with houses or without them (I recommend to start with a start "with houses") you'll see your villagers dying - at least part of them won't survive but mod is programmed to leave some of them breathing ) The slow pace and realistic time matching lifespan with passing time makes your game so much harder and there is no need for mods that add more difficulty to your game.
